Scamology: The World Wakes Up. Some Of It
After the French found Scientologists Guilty of Fraud last week, we find other parts of the world beginning to chime in:
Israeli Center for Victims of Cults declares Scientology the Biggest Cult in Israel
Keren noted that Scientology was declared a dangerous cult by a special parliamentary committee in the 1980s supported by the police, but despite continuing efforts by her group, there is no legislation in Israel to fight the activities of cults like this. She says Scientology uses agressive marketing in an attempt to get its followers to give the cult their property.
But Scientology seems to have slipped into the home of the original internet scam, Nigeria (and other African countries).
It has already infiltrated South Africa, Zimbabwe, Nairobi, Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria and, in February this year, set up a school in Ghana.
It seems so odd that Scientology would want to expand into the very countries L.Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology, held so much contempt for. A few examples from books he authored:
• The South African native is probably the one impossible person to train in the entire world he is probably impossible by any human standard.-- L. Ron Hubbard
PAB No. 119, 1 September 1957, as published in Level 0 PABS (c.1968, The American St. Hill Organization).
• The African tribesman, with his complete contempt for truth and his emphasis on brutality and savagery for others but not for himself, is a no-civilization. L. Ron Hubbard
Scientology: The Fundamentals of Thought, Bridge Publications: Los Angeles, 1997.
• The Zulu is only outside the bars of a madhouse because there are no madhouses provided by his tribe. primitives are far more aberrated than civilized peoples. Their savageness, their unprogressiveness, their incidence of illness. -- L. Ron Hubbard
Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, Bridge Publications, Los Angeles, 1995.
A heads up to Africa: The trans-atlantic slave traders of the 21st century have arrived on your shores. Time to remember your history. It's about to repeat itself.
ThanX to WWP for the tip.
