mcalesternews.com June 23 ~ The grieving mother of a 32- year-old man who died at Narconon Arrowhead joined a group of protesters called “Mothers against Narconon” on Saturday.When we say that we got support at this raid, you have no idea. People said how they'd missed us, a few people stayed and chatted for ages, we had 3 photographers come just for pics of the miniraid (one of which was our friend DN-Photos on Flickr), a guy bought us all coffee and said he was proud of us and the list goes on.
A decent turn-out considering that this was fairly improptu, 400+ fliers given out and I think we have some pretty awesome footage.
Altogether; LOLdon is winning again.
Montreal Anonymous protest looked pretty bleak at first, with only two of us at the beginning. Then more began appearing and we had a total of ten happy, frisky Anons. Volumes of flyers handed out to public.
This was a test protest to see if Montreal Police would hand out $500.00 fines for wearing Masks. A new Montreal City by-law prohibits the wearing of masks at any protest where there are more than three people.
A Case was filed by myself (David Love) recently with the Quebec Human Rights Commission - RE: Namely, the City of Montreal and Montreal Police are in breach of numerous Charter Violations - government is investigating and I expect an amendment soon - - with NO fines in the interim.
We basically spent the entire raid chalking the sidewalk and waiting for Domenic to come out and douse the sidewalk over and over and over again. SS, dude, you gotta do Dra's suggestion about the video and music. High hilarity.
Let's see. Well, when you're chalking and Domenic is throwing water at you time flies. We did have a pretty strong police response not too long after we go there. Four squad cars pulled up, with about five officers eventually standing in front of the Org.
Man, it was just like the old days! When the one officer gave us the standard instruction about not blocking sidewalk traffic he added in a little note about not stretching in front of the Org. No stretching? Yep. So of course I did some stretching later on.
At the end of the raid we spotted three kids wearing what looked to be EPF variant clothing. I followed towards the back door but they ran inside. SS should have some video of what they looked like for all of you. That was a blast! I wish every raid could be that much fun! [more photos]
Anonymous visited the Christopher Street Day 2012 in Berlin at June 23rd in Berlin. We had a huge banner, many informative flyers and pots of „Peeeeenis“-stickers.It was a heady atmosphere, many people gave us positive reactions, some were even enthusiastic.
Anonymous set an example and advocated acceptance and tolerance regarding trans-, metro-, bi- … and homosexuals. Scientology however is a homophobic cult and sees homosexuals as sexually perverted people.
The flyers gave the reader a lot of information about the homophobia the Cult of Scientology is preaching. And there – of course – was no Scientology-vehicle at the Christopher Street day although Scientology is (according to themselves) a connecting and tolerant “religion”. Weird, huh? The Narconon organization has been exposed to be a "Church" of Scientology front which is in no way connected with the real drug addiction treatment program called Narcotics Anonymous.
Anyone contemplating taking the Scientology organization's unscientific and risky "Purification Rundown" proceedure, or participating in any of the cult's other dangerous quack medicial proceedures needs to know the history of the Narconon front group, what courts have ruled about it, what newspapers have discovered and reported, and what the lack of scientific merits for the cult's proceedures mean to individuals who are trying to quit their addictions.
The goals of the Scientology cult would appear to be to use their fake front Narconon as a method of recruitment, preying upon people who are already known by the organization to have addictive personalities, and who are unaware of who actually runs Narconon.

| • [AUG/27/10] AnonSParrow: So I had the status hearing today before Judge Macaluso. This takes the place of the original October 22 status hearing. Moxon was there along with Kim Belotte, Sylvia Stanard and Vicki Turissi. Also, a surprise appearance by this Scientologist from Philly (Bruce Thompson). Why they would bring him to a status hearing (or at all) is beyond me. So anyway, what happened today: The judge said it was a moot point to pursue a TRO because the criminal complaint already enforces the stay away order. Moxon once again pressed the issue that if the criminal charges were dropped (for whatever reasons beyond his control) then it would be necessary to have this TRO to keep me away. The judge told him that he is NOT getting the TRO and that should the criminal charges "go away", for whatever reason, then he can request an emergency hearing and one will be granted within 48 hours. So he said ok. Then Moxon asked the Judge for permission to submit an amended complaint which she granted. She also granted my lawyer permission to submit a revised answer. Moxon has until September 26 (iirc) to submit his and we have until October 15 to submit our answer. The judge then set the upcoming trial events/hearings to be scheduled on what's called "Track 2" which is a medium pace for proceedings. My lawyer is going to forward that schedule to me but I don't think anything happens in the civil case now until late September. The criminal case is set to begin with a similar status hearing like today's on September 10. So that's all I've got for now. I will say that I like the judge so far. She seems like she is a no-nonsense/all-business kind of person. And in my opinion that is exactly what is needed in this case. |

• 2008 Gregg Housh: Housh had registered his name with the city of Boston as the protest permit holder, and the Scientology organization obtained his name by requesting it from the city. Shortly afterwards, Housh was served with charges of trespassing, criminal harassment, and months later disturbing the peace and disturbing religious worship.
The charges were proven to be false and fabricated.
On October 23, 2008, the Church of Scientology issued a press release incorrectly stating that Housh was a "self-proclaimed leader" of a local cell of a terrorist group called "Anonymous".After passing through the courts of four separate judges, Judge Thomas C. Horgan issued a one-year "continuance without a finding," effectively dismissing the charges.
• 1990's Keith Henson: declared bankruptcy in response to the judgment. Henson began protesting Scientology regularly, standing outside of Scientology's Gold Base, with a picket sign. The organization sought to obtain a restraining order, which failed.
As a result of this conflict, Henson was charged with three misdemeanors under California Law: making criminal threats, attempting to make criminal threats and threatening to interfere with freedom to enjoy a constitutional privilege.
Sheriff’s Detective Tony Greer, Riverside County lead investigator, said: "In reviewing all of the Internet postings I did not see any direct threat of violence towards the church or any personnel of the church."
The jury verdict of the trial resulted in Henson being convicted of one of the three charges: "interfering with a religion."

Also I spoke to the Captain and specifically discussed the prior event and he had told me he saw the video and did not feel it got to a level of a major concern, I stated I felt otherwise. He also made a statement to the larger group that seemed to contradict if he actually saw the video and when Sparrow asked if he could grab a Scientology camera was told no and then asked if they could grab his he again said no and if either side got in to the face of the other or there was any physical contact there would be an arrest of the guilty party. There were a total of five uniformed police officers and they as well as the captain we very professional and fair to each side.
One of the cult members complained that a Anon brushed against him and when the officer determined that it was an accidental brush, Sylvia who was not even present for the incident went to another officer and tried again to get Anon arrested. It was funny to watch Sue and Vicky sticking like glue to the Officer in charge never leaving him alone for more than a few moments and talking to him about everything from the weather to the evils on Anonymous.
